Home made- Skirt

I am absolutely in love with this skirt my mum bought me. I love the way this outfit has a lot of African inspired pieces such as the Pharaoh necklace and the African print skirt that my mother made for me about three years ago. I don't think African inspired clothing, jewellery and accessories will ever be "out of fashion" I think it is so appropriate for the summer season and reminds us of the hot summer sun, even if you live in a place like the UK where we see more clouds than anything else. I love wearing African pieces as it reminds me of the beautiful place where I was born and reminds me of random things like mangos and family and the warm summer breeze.
